My search results don't display my custom property values. For instance if you search for Greek singer Remos The CD results that are found are only when his name is included in product description.

CDcompilations in which his name is only in Custom Property ARTIST
field do not come up under search results

What do I need to do under searchable properties tab to make this work?

In the catalog, make sure that you have checked the searchable box in the properties wherever you have used your custom property.
