Cash/Invoice only shop

Hi, I'm trying to set up a shop which will only accept cheque/ cash with invoice orders online.

I have to have online ordering enabled to see the "add to cart " button. If I place a dummy order I go to the cart and then I am redirected to the previous page and no order is created or email sent.

I feel I'm missing something, doing something wrong or what I want is not possible. Please help !

No doubt this question has been raised before but as I'm a newbe please bear with me.

In View | Business Settings | Payment and Security, have you added 'Invoice with Order' as a payment method?

yes it's the only payment option at present.

no shipping charges involved so no criteria set.

Slightly off topic.

Your banner is 135kb which is very large and will add to your bandwidth bill and slow your pages down.

all works fine here!
Clicking the add to cart takes you to the cart page and then boucnes back to the store.
Checking out (by clicking on "checkout" on LHS) works fine and I got right through to a receipt page with no problems (except that the black text is really hard to read on the dark burgundy/brown background... you might want to change that)

Oh...and the website URL entered in your business settings as your web address has a typo! Definitely want to change that!
