    Links

I have made a custom home page and want to link from this page to various brochure and store pages.

I have worked out to use NETQUOTEVARS for my "Check Out" and "View Cart" links.

One brochure page that I want to link to is called Visit_Us.html Can I link to this page with a NETQUOTEVAR and if so how would I need to write it.

A section in my catalogue is called Propolis. Can I link directly to it with a NETQUOTEVAR from the main page or do I need to hard code the links?

Thanks in advance... its probably all straight forward but I'm just not getting it...probably time to get some sleep!

    Hi Remmo

To link an external page to the Actinic part of the website, it is best to hard-code the links in. To get the URLs, you need to upload the site, right click on the section or Brochure page link on the generated pages and select Copy Shortcut. You can then hard-code this URL directly in the custom home page.

    Hope this helps.

      Thanks Krithika,

I have created a brochure page in Actinic called visit_us.html.

In the template for this page I have placed a button which when clicked will link to another Brochure page within Actinic called "School_Groups.html".

My question is for the button href do I need to write "school_groups.html" or a NETQUOTEVAR.

If I need to write a NQV how should it be wriiten exactly?

      Thanks,
      Remmo

        Hi Remmo

I am afraid you cannot create individual Netquotevars for specific brochure pages.
You can alternately use the Link tab in the Fragment Details window. In the URL field you need to enter the page name alone, for e.g,
school_groups.html (as this is a page within Actinic), and specify a hyperlink text in the Link Text field.
Then include the word [LINK] (along with the brackets) in the Text box of the fragment.

        Hope this helps.
