Need copy of receipt email but not sending receipt email to customer

Hi

Is it possible to receive a receipt email and still switch off the sending of email receipts to customers?

We do not want customers to receive a receipt email but would still like to get an email for each order.

On the "ordering" tab of business settings under "email" sub heading, check the left hand box and uncheck the right hand box. You will be told that you have an order, they will not be sent a receipt. Make sure your email address is included in the relevant field.

I did have my store set up like this, however from feedback i changed it as customers wanted the receipt, it confirms i have receved their order and generally accepted as part of buying online.

But I know that bit. Maybe I didn't explain why I need this.

What I want is to send the receipt email to my fulfillment house - even though I am not sending the customer a receipt email.

I know of no way you can do this then, it must be possible though. Sounds like it would be a script change of somekind.

You realise that you can send the customer a copy as well as to another email address? i.e. also get a copy yourself of what they get.

I can't think why you would not want customer to get this receipt, it hinders nothing in my eyes and only enhances the custoemrs experience with you.

Take a look at our One Stop Automation product, it downsloads orders at regular intervals and can then automatically send an email to a third party with a copy of the invoice or packing list attached. You can find more details and a free trial at this URL:

I expect that you would be able to do as you wished to by changing the perl scripts, I don't know which one though.
