    Unwanted space in template !!!

    Hi,

Modified a template and added some tables inside the Actinic tabular structure of the theme I am using, "Retro".

    [See the attachment]
But for the life of me I cannot seem to sort this issue of having an unwanted space between the table at the top of my page and the start of the catalogue section detail.

I have started over, modified pixels sizes to 100% and back again to pixels, compacted uncompacted, now i'm losing my rag.

Opening the page in question in DW, clearly shows the page as i want to see it, but F12 Preview spaces it apart just as Actinic Preview does.

    WHY OH WHY ????

Help, I've gone bald now I'm bleeding ? Simon.

The page code is attached if anyone fancies a stab at this one.

    Simon.

It seems to be this bit of code

    Code:
    <td align="center" height="28" valign="top"><div align="right"><img src="RIGHT%20TITLE" border="0"> </div></td>
perhaps if that was an image file name, with a standard extension, it would come into line?

Bit weird but sorted now ...

      Hi Bill,

      Thanks for the reply.

Bit weird but in the end it seemed like a row was carrying across non-adjacent columns, i.e. the row in column 1 was forcing a row in column 3.

I had to remove a bunch of 'rowspan' and 'columnspan' tags and start over, it seemed to do the trick.

Tables...... love them or hate them eh!.

      Cheers, Simon.

P.S. Couldn't find the code you said to look at, you been working too hard

        Hmm,

I copied and pasted the source into nVu - to use its Dreamweaver like cell outlining. Did not see the rowspan forcing.

The image in the problem cell was identified in the code I copied as shown in the quote.
