    Fragment references

When copying and pasting subsections containing a fragment and products, it asks for a new reference for the fragment as well as the products. Is there anyway to change these references for the fragements as I can't see the actaul reference listed anywhere?

    Hi
    I got this with Catalogue.

All you do is click "cancel" when asked for the fragment reference.

    Best wishes

      Thanks.

Is there somewhere to edit the reference number though, as it does seem to assign one even then.

      Cheers

I think Fragments are only referenced by their title.

When you copy a subsection with a fragment in it that has been assigned a reference, it shows the reference it assigned before and asks for you to change it in the new copy, as you can't have two references the same. It does seem to be there I think.

          Cheers

If you look in the ActinicCatalog.mdb file you will see the Brochure Fragments are referenced by nFragmentID

Thanks. If I change these to fit in with the rest of the site structured numbering that I am working to, will it affect anything that might use this reference, do you know?

Actinic will check and create new refrence numbers on a +1 basis to the last one created. It should not affect anything, I would suggest making a backup of the table before editing so that there is something to go back to incase of a mess up.

                Kind regards,
