I have having a few problems in setting up worlpay with my site

in the actinic payment setup page for worldpay
i have entered the following information
Merchant id - (worlpay merchant account id - the one in test status)
Secret key - ( the installlation id for actinic)
operation is set to run in test mode
and transaction is set to pre-authorise transactions
no matter what I try I keep getting the same error:

The information sent from the merchant's site is invalid or incomplete. Please send the following information to the merchant:
The transaction cannot be processed due to one or more of the following:
* the merchant account is suspended
* the currency you selected is not supported
* the authorisation mode is incorrect
* test mode is unavailable
* the installation is not live

at first I thought that it was the wrong currency so I checked and found that my account did not have GBP, £50 later still have the same problem
I have contacted worldpay technical support and they said:

you need to login to your customer
management system and click on configuration options for you installation
scroll to the bottom and enter a MD5 secret for transactions which must not
be more than 16 characters long. Then enter this into your actinic setup.

found the configuration page that they mentioned but the only password box that I can find is info servlet password.
not sure what this is but tried entering a password and putting the same password into actinic as the secret key.
I could not get that to work either
I know that their must be a simple solution to this but I tried looking for the setup procedure on worlpay site but could not find a simple how to guide any where
any help on this would be greatly appreciated as I am now loosing orders because they can not make payment
