If I remove a product from the store, why does it still allow customers to order it? Is this a server issue or an actinic one?
I understand that people will sometimes have old pages cached on their PC and if they haven't visited in a while they don't all think to refresh, but I don't understand why some sort of warning message doesn't come up if they try to order something which has since been removed.
I've tried replicating the problem from my own PC knowing that I've taken the product off the site hours ago (so haven't refreshed that page to see what happens), and yes it will let me order it even though I know it's no longer available.
This is becoming a bit of an embarrassment as we have our january sale in full swing and despite almost constantly uploading new information, orders are still coming in for stuff that was taken off 6 hours ago!
Obviously you're going to get the odd order for things that have sold out before you get a chance to upload (again!), but that's not the same thing.
Am I doing something wrong (as usual) - any thoughts?
