Alt Tags, Header 1 and Header 2

    Hi,

I have been advised that I need to put an Alt Tag onto my logo, top right of my site and can't find how to do this.

Also I have been told I should put a Header 1 and Header 2 in each section and equally, I cannot find instructions for these either!

    Please could someone help me?

If the logo is positioned by Actinic, ie. you have designated your image for the logo within the Design | Options | Defaults and Design | Options | Brochure tags (corporate logo), then the alt text will be shown as your company name (or as designated in your business settings).

If you want to change this to something more specific for this logo, then within the Advanced | Template Manager | Main tab, you should find the template for the logo image, where you can assign it within the Alt=" specifically...

However, doing this to the brochure logo will affect all images shown in the Brochure fragments, as the template for brochure fragment images is logo and fragment issued images, so would look a bit out of place...

If you need to assign specific H1 and H2 within templates, then assign a Fragment with some text and then Edit the Fragment and amend it to use <H1>your text</H1> and so on... But that is delving into the html and would advise saving any customized templates under new names in your site1 folder, just so you can backtrack if needs be...

If you are unsure about HTML and changing fragments you can also just add the following into the Fragment Title

      !!<<h1>My Page Header</h1>>!!

      or

      !!<<h2>My Sub Heading</h2>>!!

Remember to use h1 and h2 tags correctly ie at the top of the page for h1 and as lesser heading down the page for h2's and h3's etc. If you are using a CSS based layout you may need to alter the size / appearance of the heading in the actinic.css file in the root of the site 1 folder
