Error message...

hey,
i get this error message when i try and upload:

Some duplicate HTML file names have been found and therefore the generation cannot continue.

The following sections have the same page file name as other generated pages:
Section Honda Monkey Standard Steel Rims: page: copy_of_copy_of_Honda_Monkey_Standard_Steel_Rims.html
Section Honda 6V Dax Handlebar Grips: page: copy_of_copy_of_Honda_Z50M_Handlebar_Twist_Grips.html

Section Long Kickstart with Small Bend: page: copy_of_copy_of_Long_Kickstart_with_Small_Bend.html

I'd suggest two things for you to look at:

1. make sure all your product pages have unique, relevant page names. All these Copy_Of_Copy... page names are a waste as search engiesn use page names as an indicator of what the page is about.

2. make sure your section pages don't have the same names as any of your product pages.

thakns for your reply, this has only just started happening... not sure where these pages are that are copys of existing ones.

It looks like something your html editing software has done - what editor have you been using?

Better to stick with notepad, or another text-only solution for the shop and practice on the brochure pages with WYSIWYG editors until you know what they do.

i am not using anything apart from note pad to edit certain pages, this error message just started coming up one day... is there anything i can do to override this?

problem solved rang up actinic tech support and all i had to do was rename the html name, in the layers tab on the sub section.
