I'm creating a new navigation menu for my site but have a few questions and found a few problems. I would appreciate some advice.
I'm going to communise the navigation within brochure and other pages so its similar on all pages. I was going to remove the "headerguide" and add the buttons individually using the NETQUOTEVAR:NAVB's and use the roll over html from knowledge base for the catalogue page as there is a known bug with Actinic for catalogue NETQUOTEVAR. I've added my new buttons to the relevant sections but when I remove the "headerguide" and replace with individual NETQUOTEVAR's Actinic upload's old button even though a new button is selected for that page?
At the moment, the only way around this is to use the roll over html for each button, can anyone see a problem with doing this?
Also the url for my product page is
http://www.iluvm.co.uk/acatalog/index.html
but if I copy shortcut from my current catalogue button the url is
http://www.iluvm.co.uk/cgi-bin/ss000...html&NOLOGIN=1
They both end up at same page and it makes no difference if a customer is signed in or not, is there is a good reason why the button link go's through the cgi-bin? Sorry it may sound like a silly question but I want to make sure what I'm doing is 100% correct.
Any help appreciated.
