£ symbol in cart

basically we moved servers and since the move the delivery charges in the checkout show as ? instead of £. I have tried updating and refreshing the website but no luck. And it seems to be set up correctly for £'s because they are displayed everywhere else in the site correctly.

We had the same problem for months but have now found the reason.

Actinic is not at fault here so don't waste any time making changes to it.
Your new server is a 'Linnux box'. If it was awindows server this issue does not occour.
It's all about the setup of you server and which default character set it uses.
You should get your ISP to adjust the configs so the default character set is not the one it is using. (I can't remember which one but there was a very helpfull post here a few weeks ago on the subject and with some help from our ISP we got it sorted.)
