It looks like dataflame is the name of your host - you should have purchased your own domain name and be trying to upload to that, hosted on their server.Bill

OK - you should be trying to connect to ftp.ukdesignermenswear.com if you are using an external FTP program.
If you are trying to connect using Actinic, then that will be your FTP server address in the top right part of network settings.Bill

check that the permissions are set to 755 for all directories.

The easiest way to set permissions is with an FTP program such as aceftp, cuteftp, etc.
With most of these you can right click on the directory and set the permissions with a few simple clicks.
An ftp program is also handy for other uses such as creating directories, deleting files, etc.

500 'CHMOD 775 cgi-bin': command not understood
Server does not support attribute modifications
Failed [Server does not support attribute modifications]
It doesnt support the changing of permissions so it'd seem. i'v contacted them and the permissions can now be changed manually using the 'plesk' control pannel. Still im getting the same error though. Attached is the errorAttached Files

I'm still using V6 so don't recognise the V7 wizard, but doesn't that look like the actinic trial server details in the background?
I'm also not sure that actinic will work if it can't change file permissions as I believe it needs to lock the order files etc.
Anyway, back to the original problem. Can you export your network settings and then copy/paste them into teh forum so we can take a look. remember to overwite your username and password details.

It's because actinic is in actinic host mode. See this thread http://community.actinic.com/showthr...on+negotiation
