Compact the database and re-try - that might help.

        Error generating Html pages

Hi, I have the same error message(click here to see a screencapture) when I try to update my catalog.

I did "Housekeeping | Compact Databases" and also purged the deleted items, but it doesn't help

        Any idea ?

        (my catalog url : http://commerce.ictl.com/)

        Thanks

Have you modified any of the templates recently - particularly the Act_Primary.html or templates specific to the sections or products?

No error any longer... I reimported all the files, refreshed the site and it works... thanks.

              Hi,
I have a similar problem. My developer will not generate HTML files and 2 error message appear:
              1. "No error occured" click OK
              2. "Error generating HTML pages"

I have tried compacting the databases but this has not solved the prolem.

Also, I am unable to upload my work as Developer crashes half way through the "Checking catalog" part of the upload process.....

Any help or suggestions greatfully received....

              Thanks

That would indicate a corrupted section page. I would suggest raising a ticket with support on this else calling in support if you have a cover contract as we will have to see a snapshot to determine what is happening.

                Support ticket @ http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/register.htm

                Kind regards,

I go to purge content and the following file appears.
'The search key was not found in any record', this message appears twice.

Then I go to upload files and a message saying 'No error occurred' after which "Error generating HTMl files' appears. This has baffled me for ages.

                            Sorry I don't understand...

I was asking if you were using the Refresh and Purge option from the Troubleshooting menu

No haven't used that, does that only delete perl files or does it reformat the entire site including uploads? I asking because I have over 1000 zip files which would take hours to re-load.
