Price changes in a drop down menu

We're building an actinic shop for our school uniform sales.

I've been trying to find out how to make different choices different prices in the drop down menu on a product.

I know it can be done because I've seen it on many other actinic sites, I thought it might not be do-able because I'm using catalog and not business but on the features comparisons chart it says :

'Assign a different price to each choice or combination of choices'
is do-able in all 4 versions of actrinic

    please help!

You can do this by creating 'Component's' beneath the product's and then creating an 'Attribute' and then choices below the attribute. Once this is done, if you return and click on teh component you will see that it has a tab called 'Permutations', click on this and then click on teh button that says 'Fill List'. You will now be able to assign individual prices to the choices and even associate them to hidden products on your site if you intend to maintain stock for the choices.

Take a look at the Starter Guide that you will find in C:\\Program Files\Actinic v7\Starter Guide\

    Kind regards,
