Purging orders

Hi im not sure if this has already been asked but please help me!

I currently purged all out old orders from over 6 months ago and when i did it it completely changed all my stock figures???

Is there any way you can purge orders but prevent that happening as its a big job to input all the correct figures again!!

That should not happen with the stock, especially if it has been old orders that have been deleted. If this happens again, I would suggest raising a support ticket @ http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/register.htm or calling support if you have a support contract so that somene can take a look at the Database to see why this is happening. It is very useful to periodically compact the databases, this can be done by going to Housekeeping | Compact Databases | Select both options and proceed.
