Surcharge per order for customer group

Hi

I really need to be able to apply a surcharge of £5 per order to 'logged in' customers i.e. members of any customer group

Is there any way to do this?

The reason I need this is that I want to charge my trade customers carriage but give retail customers free carriage - the shipping facilities don't seem to allow for this.

You can do this on the restrictions tab on the surcharge you set up. Say you create an order level discount based on 'Cart value Excluding tax', Set 'Type' to 'Amount', under Triggers, set the cart value to £1.00 and the amount to £5.00 ( taking for granted that the minimum order is going to be +£5.00 ), Click on the restrictions tab and select 'Restricted to Customer Groups', then using the drop down select the first customer group, to add additional groups use the + sign at the top lefthand corner of the box to create a new line. Save and update the site.
