Hard Drive Failure
26-Jan-2006, 05:26 PM
Is there any way to recover from a HDD failure from the website. Unfortunatly the most recent modifications are online and not backed up locally?

There are similar threads already on this - whilst you can FTP and save the images the raw data is not saved on the site.
Specialists can often recover data from failed drives - may be worth checking out.

stick the failed hard drive in the freezer for a few hours, then give it a whirl

Or contact one of the data recover specialists e.g.
www.ontrack.com
who can for a (could be big) price often recover data from disks that can't even spin.
