Changing Act_Order#.html templates

Hi,

I want to edit some of the Act_Order#.html templates, see below:

1) I want to change the "Name/Cardholder" field on Act_Order01.html template to "Contact Name". How would I go about doing this? I have tried removing the variable name in the table and replacing it with plain text but this does not work?

2) I also want to completely remove the payment page (think it's Act_Order02.html) from the order process. I want to go straight from the contact details page to the order completion page. How would I go about doing this?

Any help will be most appreciated!!

1) Go to Design | Text | Website (cont) , here you can change the prompts to whatever you like.

2) Not really sure what you're trying to do here. How are you processing your payments?

Guess I was trying to over complicate things with the first question then! Thanks.

I am creating a website for a customer and they do not wish to take payments online, they only wish to initiate an order process. Is there a way to cut this page out by using the "Go To" commands under Design | Text | Web Site tab?

IF you go to View | Business Settings | Payment & Security, you should see a list of payment options displayed there. Make sure no online options are selected, and use 'Invoice With Order'.

Now when you checkout, the first page (order01) captures contact details and the second page (order02) captures the 'other info', before showing the order reciept.

I'm not sure if there is a way of bypassing order02, you could try Design | Text | Web Site (cont) | General Information and unchecking the user-definable fields.
