Drop down store section menu

Hi,

Im using smart theme of Act 7 and want to know how does one make the store section menu expand. I've seen some sites which have that facility.
Also is this javascript based? Is a favourable move for search engines or might they not read the titles?

Have looked through community threads, but dont see an answer

Most of the various section menus are Javascript based. You can code one yourself but there are some free/donation ware tools available to help you, such as NorMenu at www.drillpine.biz.

Search engines won't be able to read any text or links from Javascript menus, which is why there are static 'breadcrumb' links at the top & bottom of each page to navigate through sections. Also, you should maintain a sitemap to make sure search engines can spider your site easily.
