    Free Shipping

    I'm very new to Actinic so please bear with me. The majority of items I'll be selling will be free delivery. I'm after putting up a 'free delivery' graphic next to each product.......much in the same way as the 'new' graphic appears when you opt for the 'Layout design for new products'.

    Would there be a way to copy that layout add my 'free delivery' graphic and save it so that I could add it if and when I please?

    Thank you for your time

    You will first off have to have an image for the Free shipping. Look in the site1 folder for Act_ProductLineNew.html and open it wih an editor like notepad or dreamweaver. Search for 'NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTNAME' and you should see this on the line below....

    <img src="new_product.gif" border="0" width="27" height="13" alt="New">

    Replace 'new_product.gif' with your image file and change the alt="New' to read "Free Shipping". Save and exit the file, now in Actinic you can use the drop down and select "Layout Designed For New Products" for the particular product.

      Cheers for that Bruce,

      I'd still like to retain the 'New Product' layout though......as well as having a layout for 'Free Shipping'

      Would this be possible?

      Thank you for your time and patience

        Sure, that is possible. All you would need to do is to save the existing template as Act_ProductLineFreeShipping.html and make the changes there. You can then select this template for the Free Shipping products and still be able to use the default 'New' layout wherever necessary..
