    Free Shipping

    Hi,

    I have just changed my site so that UK p&p is £3.95 up to £75.00 and then free shipping for all UK orders of £75.00. I thought I had set it correctly, however, as customer has just emailed to say they were charged p&p.

    Would anyone be able to tell me what I have to set to get this to work please?

    Normally, you would only need to set the value in the 'Free over' box on View|Business Settings, Shipping and Handling tab - but this will make shipping free for everyone. If you want charges to apply overseas and set only UK to receive free shipping, then in the table for UK shipping, you need a price band of GBP75.01 set at a cost of 0.00 and for allow excess 'take the highest rate' should work.

    This way, costs up to GBP75 will pay the shipping cost in that bracket, but above 75 will fall into the 75.01 band at 0.00 cost.
