Missing section - import from backup

Not sure how it's happened, but we have a whole section missing. The top level sections are still there but all the products have gone. I have a full site export with the missing section. What's the best method for reimporting the section without messing up stock levels are orders?

    Thanks,

    Edward

Is that a site snapshot or just a csv export of your store?

Please export a site snapshot before making any changes. In case, anything goes wrong, you can reimport the snapshot to reinstate your site. Now, depending upon the file type, you can either import the csv file or the site snapshot.

Also please note that importing a snapshot would overwrite the existing site.
