Hi,

When you create a product there is a section for "prompts" to enable you to ask a customer for additional information.

When adding that product as a component of another product, it doesn't show the prompt. Does anyone know how to fix this?

You will need to add the prompt at the master level and not at the component level. If you are after more input prompts check out Normans donationware "multiple other info prompts" over at www.drillpine.biz

Hi Jon - there is a prompt at the master level, but for some reason it is not showing when the product is selected as a component. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Ralph,

Other Info Question would work only at the master level and not on the Component level. In other words, if you create a product and add other info question, that would work fine. But if the same product is selected as a component for another product, it won't work.
