    Help please

    Hi

    im trying to add a link from actinic to a page in dreamweaver? can anyone tell me

    A if this is possible &

    B HOW???

    A. yes - you are not actually linking to Dreamweaver but a page on the site that is created by Dreamweaver

    B. depends where you are putting the link:

    B1. you can enter links into product descriptions fields by using the following:

    Code:
    !!<<a href="http://www.site.com/non_actinic_page.html">This links to my non actinic page</a>>!!
    .... note the starting !!< and closing >!! which tell Actinic this is code and not text to display.

    B2. If you are embedding in a template simply use the above but omit the !!< and >!! when entering into the HTML

      Hi thanks for the reply.

      i have tried that but when i click on the link i get an error coming up saying that the requested document can not be found on this server. i am really new to actinic and dreamweaver so please bear with me.

        Have you uploaded the non-actinic page to the site? To get Actinic to do this for you, include the file in Advanced | Additional Files.
