    Actinic not sending automatic emails

    I am not receiving order emails from actinic and the customer that ordered from us isn't getting a confirmation either. When I was running ont he trial site this all worked perfectly not that I have uploaded to 1&1 it seems to have stopped working. I have checked business settings and email is all set up ok in there. I have also read some threads and tried local host and this hasn't wored either. Any ideas?? Donna

    We're with 1&1 on a Pro package and we just have auth.smtp.oneandone.co.uk for the SMTP server and no username or password under Network Settings. . . I think.

      Mike (Olderscot) and I have previously confirmed we use the same settings with 1 & 1

      Smtp address : auth.smtp.oneandone.co.uk
      User Name and Pasword required : Blank (not ticked)

        David thanks for this but this is not working either? Is there anything I could have not ticked right anywhere that you or anyone else knows of???

            Can you confirm the email address entered under View | Business Settings - Company & Contact tab - email address field, is a valid address on your 1 & 1 domain?

              Yes Bill it is. And if I go into the orders tab and select a customer and click new email it will send one to them but nothing happens if you place an order?? I'm sure it is probably a tick box somewhere that I'm missing or something but I haven't changed any settings knowingly since going from trial to live. Any ideas??

                Check on View | Business Settings - Ordering tab - are the boxes there that need to be ticked, actually ticked?
