    Dreamweaver + actinic problem

Every time i make a change to a template,be itadding new buttons or tables,I save it then try to view it through actinic,I then go back into dreamweaver and get a message saying "this site has been modified out of dreamweaver would you like to save changes" .Am i missing something?it's getting annoying!I just want to be able to save and view my changes!
Thanks in advance for any help

It depends on which files you have open in DW when you do the preview - I find this can happen if the actinic.css file is open as that file is compiled by Actinic to replace the NETQUOTEVAR's with the values specified inside Actinic - as DW rightly says the file has changed.

If you have any of the previewed files open from the PreviewHTML folder this will also happen. I tend to hit ignore and not update on the rare times it happens.

I don't seem to have any css files open.I would hit ignore but I can't ignore it as it's not making the changes within actinic and so when i preview through actinic it just changes everything back!

Sounds like you are modifying a file in DW that is in the Preview directory instead of the Site1 directory. Files in Preview get overwritten by Actinic. You will need to modify the templates in the Site1 folder to see your changes. Make backups so you can revert if need be.

Sounds correct Jamie (you'll also need to put your images in the root of Site1 as well before uploading)
