    Table/Nanigation/Logo Table Widths

This is probably very simple.......but not to a simpleton like me

I'm using the Smart theme at the minute and have been playing around with the widths of the site. If I set the table width that the home page uses to 750pix and the table width that the logo sits in at 750pix. Why are they different sizes in view mode? I've had to set them to 750pix and 920pix respectively so that the sit perfectly inline with each other.

    Cheers

If it is the table width you have set up in settings (ACTSDWIDTH) that is the width of the central table for products, section layout etc (which is nested inside another table) - you have the navigation width (plus any margins) to add in on top of that to get the overall layout size

The main table width contains the two sidebars and the central table, the logo table spans across the top of all three of those columns, does that help?

        Hi Bill.

Indeed, that's where I'm coming from. I've had to set the main table 750pix and the logo table at 920pix. It works.....I just can't understand why?

The logo table has to 'reach' across the left sidebar, the main table, and the right side bar. Hence 920=750+left sidebar+right sidebar.

Unless of course you are placing an image that is 920px wide and forcing the table wider!
