Smart Theme

Hi,

I am using the smart theme, and would like to display an image in the side bars.

I can see that you go to Design Options|Site Defaults , and in there you can change the text.. But can you add an Image. There does seem to be a File Name Check box. Have tried the obvious but doesn't seem to work.

Any advice would be great, thanks.

Use the forum search feature, there's a number of threads that explain how to do this.

Have a look at www.qualitysilver.co.uk to see if this is what you want.

If so the side bar was created as a seperate html page and the name for this page was then included as the file name.

I use customvars rightbartitle and rightbartext. I can't remember if these are already in Actinic or if I added them.

If you need to add them then goto advanced > custom properties.

Hi sue, a simple solution i found was to edit 'Act_primary.html' with dreamweaver or something similar, adding pictures and any other content manually. Hope this helps

Busby, Yes that exactly what I wanted. Thanks I will so that now.

Also on your site I see that on the Store Sections you have only the top level displaying, and "+" to bring down the subsections.

How did you to this ?

The navigation section was courtesy of Norman.

There is a small fee to pay which is worth it for the difference that it makes to the look of the site.

This patch isn’t on his site so you will have to contact him direct.
