    Multiple Image Help

    Hi All

I am trying to create multiple images for a product that when clicked pop up a large version. Each product may have about 4 different images, eg:

    rear view
    side view
    close detail view
    alternative colour

Anyone have any idea how i can do this at all?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi

I'm not sure if there is a better way of doing this but you could paste the four images into 1 for example using something like Photoshop. If you see our website I've done one for our 'supplier finder' service under wedding services.

    It's one solution!
    Thanks
    Sheila

you would do this by creating a customvar for each image.

There plenty of documentation re customvars.

Here's an example of 4 images, top product on this url

        Hi Jo

That is great but i fear for the download time for people to view all the images. Each one will be around 40k so quite a little wait for people on dialup. I can't compress the images much more since the images are clothing (lingerie) and its the clear sharp images that sell the products.

        Thanks in advance

Have you considered Normans "Dynamic Images" you could put the three or four images in as attributes and whan clicked it shows the other images, we use it for colours but there is no reason not to use it for displaying other images

I like this layout for our redesign. Not worried about file size, too much. I see you used js. Would this work if we just Photoshopp 3-4 images into one and use the Actinic Extended Info Popup Image to load that image?

Here's a demo of what can be achieved via the Customvar route.
