    SMTP Issue / Pipex

We have moved all out sites onto a VPS system at Pipex.

All are fine apart from www.playtimecreations.co.uk - when we test the email settings we get:

"The computer you specified as your mail server is not a valid mail (SMTP) server. Check the computer name or address and try again. If it fails again, then it is possible, you were locked out by a firewall program, or you don't have network connection to this server."

Will not work with 127.0.0.1 or localhost either and get same message.

Our other sites on VPS are setup exactly the same, and the 123-reg DNS records are setup correctly.

Have spoken to Pipex and they have tested the site and they cannot find any issue, so it has to be something to do with Actinic.

Email to and from via outlook is aok.

    Does anybody have any ideas?

Have you confirmed the email address in View | Business settings is the right one for that website?
And based on the SMTP server you are trying to set?

Yes, the email address and SMTP is correct - no change from previous hosting.

          Bizarre

It's now working - pass, no idea, give up.

          Just glad it's working.
