Newbie: Including product details on home page

Hi Guys - I was wondering if you could help me - I'm trying to create a fragment to be included on the home page of an Actinic site I'm building.

Ideally, the fragemnt will almost behave like an include of 3 separate fragments (if you can do that???) where the clientcan chage 3 different items. Ive attached an example image.

I need it to be set up so the client can change 2 images independantly of eachother, as well as referencing a product (within the grren box) - how do I pull product info into the home page?

I would be inclined to set up a new fragment template with the main areas laid out (tables are easier or CSS if you have the patience with Actinic) and set up all the contents to be CUSTOMVAR's so the client can "easily" change the content as and when required in the properties tab.
