Marketing Message

Does this option depend upon the theme being used?

I was under the impression that it was supposed to display over the T&C.

...and it doesn't.

Any ideas anybody?

Hi there

The marketing message is the same for all the themes within Actinic. However you can create a range of marketing messages that will be displayed (by default) above your terms and conditions, and at the top of your site map page. Several messages may be created and saved, but only one can be displayed at a time.

If the marketing message doesn't appear on the website check the following;
1. Go to view | Business setting | Terms and conditions tab and tick display under Marketing message.

2. Go to Advanced | Template manager | Main tab and click on Body button and make sure that NETQUOTEVAR:SPLASHTEXTBODY appear within the template.

Thanks - but the marketing message is NOT displayed by default in all themes, Just done a check and NETQUOTEVAR:SPLASHTEXTBODY is not contained within the themes I am using, Best Seller and Smart (ie the newish ones).

Oh well, can now be fixed.
