    Adding Custom Pages (How?)

    Hi,

    I am migrating an existing website to Actinic v7 developer.

    I would like to add a link in the left menu, that when clicked opens up a new window, with a small custom page (ie, page not from actinic software). This page would be without the Actinic menus/header/footer, etc, ie, it's a page contained completly within itself.

    How is that done?

    Whereabouts do I store this custom page? can i put the html page in the site1/ folder? will it get uploaded automatically by Actinic when i publish the site changes?

    TIA.

    Your link needs to be something like

    <a href="mycustompage.html" target="_blank">

    and the file mycustompage.html should be in Site1 (or a folder off Site1) and you need to tell Actinic you want to upload it via Advanced / Additional files.

    FYI all Actinic generated or uploaded (as above) files (except the Brochure Home Page) are put in the acatalog folder on your server.
