    Uploading

    Hi,
I have just purchased linux webspace from "my server world" it is apparantly on their new platform, whatever that means. I can't get the website to upload to it though I get the error message

    200 switching to binary
    500 ilegal port command
    500 unknown command

I have also got the following error message

"The test script failed to execute on the web server. The error could be caused by several things. Check the path to the Perl shell, the CGI script extension, the path to CGI-BIN, and the CGI-BIN URL. This error could also occur if your web site is out of disk space or your web server is not configured to accept POSTs to CGI scripts."

I have contacted my server world and have been told there is nothing wrong with either the paths I am using and the server will accept posts to cgi, anyone have any ideas, (not too technical please)

Can you post your settings (with usernames and passwords removed)?
