How do I put the section list on left-hand side of every page (inc home page)?

    Hi

I'm new to Actinic. I wonder if anyone can help me.

I need to have a list of all categories of product down the left hand side navigation bar. This should appear not just for the online catalogue pages but also for the home page and all other pages.

How do I go about doing this? Do I need to edit the appropriate templates?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Jon

The advanced users guide covers this in great detail - go to Actinic Support Home Page and look for downloads. Get the word version - it avoids linewrap problems present in the pdf file.

Many an error on this forum has been caused by people copy and pasting from the PDF version due to the line wrap

Thanks guys. I've been through the advanced guide and it explains how to produce section lists in the online catalogue (act_primary template) but I'm still not sure how to get the code to work for the brochure pages (act_brochureprimary template). Any ideas?
          Thanks

Should just be the same changes, I seem to remember (but since I don't use standard brochure pages, maybe I should shut up and let someone who really knows answer the question).

If you use the Best Seller template, the sections will automatically list down the left side of all the pages, including the view cart page.

none of the navigation menus include brochure pages in the scripts- they only include products.

The only way to do this is to move your brochure pages into the catalog tree ie trat your brochure pages as if they were product pages.

Or use a product nav (as per user guide) and then hard code your links underneath

ie create a section called info pages and put your extra pages there
