    Able2Buy Integration

I have a client who wants to integrate Able2Buy into their website.

    Integration Info

It seems as though the best way to do this would be to create a Payment method called 'Buy on Credit' and then somehow, instead of directing them to Paypal or Worldpay etc, direct them to the Able2Buy website.

This is the email i got from Able2Buy:

'...Basically you post across to us basket information such as customer details and goods information such description, quantity, product code and price - will you be able to access these individual fields in actinic?

If not you could just send over the customer information, total basket value and a generic goods description and product code, defaulting the quantity to 1...'

Does anybody have any experience of using Able2Buy or from teh information provided does it seem as though it will be easy, hard or 'forget about it'?

    Thanks in advance.

      able2buy

We also want to integrate able2buy - but have hit a brick wall with Actinic and able2buy
      - our initial thoughts at this time - why do both parties think this is so complicated?

      Are we missing something?

We would be happy to pay for this work....................any thoughts?

        Clive,

        I would suggest giving Sales a shout on 0845 129 4800.

          Thanks Bruce - you said

          I would suggest giving Sales a shout on 0845 129 4800.

Well I did just that before, before my last post, they pointed me at
http://www.actinic.co.uk/services/acatalog/Payment.html and the message was that if they [they in our case being able2buy] weren't listed then 'tuff' [not in so many words you understand]

there is another thread on this issue http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?p=107733

          Here is the able2buy protocol

            Hi there

To integrate able2buy to Actinic, the company (Able2Buy) would need to purchase the PSPToolkit from the Sales Dept. This would allow them to create a gateway for Actinic to their system with the help of our developers. This is what all the other PSP have done in the past, purchased the PSPToolkit and developed a gateway.

              Able2buy

Horrah we have the soloution and that's very positive - thank you all for the input.

              Just one open question..................
Do able2buy BUY the PSPToolkit from the Actinic Sales Dept or does the Sales Dept get on the phone and SELL it to them.

As I said in a previous post - the two companies are missing a trick here and now we have identified the trick............

              1. Actinic get a sale of the PSPToolkit
              2. able2buy enpower their clients to win able2buy more business

              Everyone wins
