    Notification of new order

    Hi,

    I am new to actinic and we are going to be going live with a small (very small) catalogue. Everything is fine apart from I now no longer receive a notification that a new order has been received at the site.

    I'm not sure when this happened but i used to receive notifications every time. Please help.

    FYI - i have just upgraded to the latest version (5.1.5) and this still does it. The only customisation I have made to the email templates are to add in a disclaimer to the buyers email message (this email works).

    Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer me.

    You only get a new order message the first order placed after you have downloaded orders and not with every order

      Hi

      Have you changed you network settings, you need to check that you have assigned you smtp mail server correctly. This can be found under advanced - network settings - then at the bottom of the window common settings.

      If the first reply you got answered you question then ignore this if not have a look but be carefull with these settings, if you change any of the other boxes you could cause you site to stop working.

        Thanks for the replies guys,

        I didn't realise you only get a message after the first order since a retrieval of orders.

        I'm glad it was me being stupid and not a problem with the software - there's a chance something can be done about me :-)
