Subdomains

I am trying to set up a site as a sub domain on my main site without success.

I have named the folder where I wish the new site to be located but am having trouble uploading the site to this folder.

Has anyone successfully done this?

If so could you throw any light on how I should configure the network settings for the sub domain?

What I usually do to upload multiple sites to a domain is to create seperate folders for each of the sites within the root folder which is either 'Web','httpdocs' etc, and then use that in the network setup, so the CatalogURL for Site1 will look like

http://my.domain.co.uk/Site1/acatalog/
