Product table alignment

Hi I have been having problems with my product tables aligning as you can see in the following test link:

They use custom act_productLineTables which have identical tables but with different colours applied to each product, and no mater what variations I create a can't get the inner parts of the table to align consistantly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your heading and the first product are in the same table. However subsequent products are each within their own table. Try losing the <TABLE> and </TABLE> for the subsequent products (so they each start and end with just <tr> and </tr>). This way they all share the first tables columns. Make sure you put a </TABLE> into your primary template to end the outer table.

Also you have defined the outer table to be only 630 pixels wide, but have more cumulative cell widths than that.

PS. You could deal with the colours by using a Custom Property, and having all products use the same template.

E.g. <td bgcolor="CUSTOMVAR:COLOUR">.....

or <td class="CUSTOMVAR:CLASS">

Ok...

I have been looking through all the info regarding product table layouts...

Now the question is, has anyone managed to create a table within actinic & only use it on selected pages... I understand that you can create tables already, but these are created using Act_ProductBody.html which then affects the entire site. The other option would be to hard code a table. But i wanted to have the Add To Cart option against each product. So has anyone managed to figure this one out ?

If so could i get some tips on how you did it?

Why not add the table header into a modified fragment and place above the products - closing out any gaps and product dividers accordingly?
