    Search Engine Friendly

    I saw this site:

    http://www.baggamenswear.co.uk/acata...her-hole_.html

    and noticed the url is more or less search engine friendly (well, friendliER!).

    How do I do this in actinic? (SEF URL's?)

    Does anyone else have any "search engine friendly" tips for actinic?

    You mean the descriptive page name? If your site is already online and you start changing page names, make sure you include a redirect in your htaccess file (if using Unix/Linux hosting).

    The format will be;
    Redirect permanent oldpagename.html http://full domain path info including/acatalog/newfilename.html

    To change the page name, select the page in the Actinic catalog tree on the left and make the changes in the grey area on the right.

      Thanks for the reply.

      The site isn't live yet, only testing it at the moment.

      I have selected the product from the menu on the left no problems, but on the right hand side under the "links" tab (where I assume I change it from?) is a tad confusing, what do I enter where?

        You need to change the html name of the page on the the layout tab, with the page highlighted, not the product.
