    site map

I have just launched my web site, but noticed my site map button has an x on it. How do i delete all the old content of the site map or better still how do i remove it completely from the site.

Removing the site map would be a mistake, possibly leaving the search engines with no way of navigating between your pages.

If you are seeing a small red x where the sitemap button should be, this means you have not uploaded the sitemap image file to your server. Add the filename to Advanced - Additional Files and upload again to sort that.

You are missing both images sitemap1.gif and sitemap2.gif. The sitemap.html page is also missing. There is no index.htm or index.html file in the acatalog folder, so I was able to open the folder and nose around.

Based on what I saw, I would do a full refresh from Web | Refresh website in Actinic.

Go to Design | Options - Sections tab, and put a tick in the box for include site map in web site, then upload again.
