new site old actinic!

Hi all,

Having a very bad day today, just finishing a site for a friend when it all went wrong? when transfering the site folder from my desktop to the actinic/programs/site1 folder it has completly overwriten the new site with the old site info non-repairable as I forgot to do a site back up ooouch, is there anyway to remove the old site from the site1 folder without removing the the custom templates ive had made! those templates were from an old site I had originaly had built but never realy used, I want to start afresh with the new site using my old templates? trying to forget the last 6 weeks work down the drain + a very un happy mate

You will only be able to get back to the last snapshot exported from the working site, unless you stopped using the disk immediately and took it to a very skilled data recovery shop.

Could you make a custom theme, then install an old snapshot and set it to
use that custom theme? You need developer to make a custom theme.
