upload freeze

I am attempting to upload my site after making a price change on Version7.0.5.0.0.0.FJBA
It displays the "check and send files " window and correctly undertakes the first three tasks. :-
1/ Checking Catalogue
2/ Checking HTML pages
3/ Checking search indicies
Then it seems to get stuck on the fourth task, as it says in the lower half of the window - "checking remote directory structure".
There is then no option but to shut down the program.
I have tried restarting the computer etc but without success.
Any help would be appreciated.

This can happen if you have a Norton firewall running on your computer. Turn it off temporarily then try again. You will probably have to do a full site refresh (Web | Refresh Website) rather than the usual Upadate Website as well.

Thankyou, it worked, although we have a firewall/Anti hacker installed called Kaspersky, it was set to high, I changed it to medium and Bingo!!
