Hi Jonty

Just thought i'd let you know after having read about 100 of your posts and seeing "div" tags mentioned many times, i finally had enough last night and decided to find out WTF they are.

After an hours mooching and reading, i now get it i think. There was quite a few articles on the difference between span and divs which was a little confusing, however it was all good.

Thank you for annoying me enough to learn what it was.

Glad it prompted you to check them out - used correctly they are a very powerful weapon in your design toolbox. Easiest way to remember the difference is the a <div> is as it says on the box a page division (header, footer, navigation, content etc) and <span> is used to isolate (or span) just a specific section of code.
