left hand side and top menu questions

Hi all,

I'm really struggling to understand how the left hand menu and the top menu can be manipulated. I've managed to change the actual images but cannot see how to add sections etc.

any starting point would be very helpful - once i start i'll probably have more questions..

If you can post which theme you are using someone will be able to advise accordingly (your current homepage setting does not appear to be an Actinic site so was unable to see)

Hi,

I'm a bit out of my depth here because I did my own menu-thing, but I got the impression the catalogue sections were generated as the javascript file, Act_section_tree.js. You can use some NETQUOTEVAR variables to access the tree entries in your templates and produce the left-hand menu entries. Its covered in one of the design guides.

Not sure what you mean by the top menu entries. presumably its the:
Home | About Us | Contact Us | etc. etc.

I would suggest downloading the Advanced Users Guide from here. Take a look in Chapter 2 'Design Tips' and you should be able to find what you are after.
