Linking to a product problems

I am testing this at the moment and just ensuring that you can jump directly to a product consistently. I am linking directly to products from outside actinic. I have set this up and it appears to work fine, however after a few days the linking does not work and I get a 404 not found.

It appears to be someting around cookies. If I clear cookies in IE, then it works again. Any suggestions please.

That page uses PHP to do it's work.

The PHP executes on your server and it's code is completely invisible to anyone but yourself.

The normal way to link to products from outside Actinic is via a SearchScript URL with the product reference as the parameter. This is documented in the Knowledge Base and also there are plenty of posts here about it.

Product Linking Problem

Hi Norman,

I thought I was using the correct method by using a link as described.

http://your.URL/cgi-bin/ss00000x.pl?...html&NOLOGIN=1

As I said it appears to work fine, then when I try after a couple of days it fails, but clearing cookies fixes it.
