order quantity issue

Hi

I dont know if its a glitch in actinic but i think ive spotted a problem.

A customer of ours has a product setup and has currently got one item in stock. Now because he has got set a maximum order quantity set as 3, it is letting us order 3 of them from the shop when he doesnt have that many in stock.

Is this a glitch in the software or are we doing something wrong?

Any help very much appreciated.

Hi Martin,

This is not a glitch - Actinic is very bad at stock control. I had the same problem -see this thread: http://community.actinic.com/showthr...ght=stock+easy. As you'll read Mole-end has a good solution but for now I have just used the facility to "show stock levels in the store pages" - page 13 of the advanced user guide. This seems to have worked -so far!! See my site www.silvermoonbeads.com to see how I've integrated it on the product pages. You have to be religious about re-uploading your site everytime someone buys something otherwise the stock figures are meaningless. For more history just search this forum for other "stock" threads.
