Google cant see us yet...

Hi all,

I cant seem to submit my site to google. I have a two questions...

1. I remember seeing a list of shopping directories that we can link to, somewhere on the actinic website. There were about seven of them, and I cant for the life of me find them again...
Any ideas?

2. Can anyone have a look at the site and let me know whether we're using the Metatags/keywords correctly? Or whether I need to be entering my keywords in other text areas so that crawlers see them?

(please excuse the bottom scroll - we have been made aware of it by you kind people. We're working on the size issues identified last week...hopefully we'll crack those soon.)

Why are you unable to submit to Google? The link is at http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl which needs to be done manually.

There are several Actinic links pages by members including wjcambe and pinbrook amognst others and a list of free search engine on ruralwebs website

I've submitted there, however when i check again, the site is not there. On the submissions page it states that not all submissions will be added to their index. I guess mine wasnt added??

Do a search on the forum for "Google Sandbox" ... it can take several months for the site to start being listed. Don't under any circumstances keep re-submitting or you may get black-listed. Also worth doing a search on "Google Sitemap" and submitting that also.

In the meantime keep adding and building to the site each week so Google can see it is not a static site

thanks for the advice about not resubmitting!! i shall definitely take that onboard.

i have added my sitemap

and now i'm going to look at the sandbox...
