    Images have gone down

Hi, just wondering if anyone can help. I cant get images to go onto my site at the moment. After several months of adding images with ease, they just wont go on. I browse and select the image I want like normal, but even on the viewing window, they dont register. I am selecting new images and these dont work. But if I select an existing image it does. I have checked the new images and they look fine, but while I can see and select the name of the file, nothing apears when it is selected. Any ideas anyone? Thanks for your help

    Can you give more details.
What do you mean by they don't register?
Do you mean when saying adding images that you were adding products?
    What version are you using?

      Thanks for the quick reply.
When I select a new image for a product, it allows me to select it, but when I preview the page it does not show the image, just a box with a red cross. This is on version 7

Where are you keeping your images?
Try copying one over to the Previewhtml folder and see if it shows in preview.

Are the new images kept in the main folder / sub folder of the Actinic Site1 folder?

I am keeping my images in the site 1 folder. I copied one over to the preview HTML foulder and selected the image in the normal folder, but no joy

What is throwing me is that I have saved them in the same way as normal. I have had the site running fine for 6 months, but now it does not want to recognise the images.

                If this is your site:
                http://www.originalbooks.net/acatalo...ammon_Set.html
then I think you may need to check that you have your additional images added to the additional files list (as well as placed in your previewhtml folder)

You could try adding an already used image from another product to see if that shows in preview.

I have added them to the manual advanced/ additional images area and uploaded them. But still no joy

Long shot but worth checking they are not in CMYK format but RGB if JPEG's

How about: spaces in the file names, special charcters, case sensitive (correct case)?

Had a look at the web page, and the 2nd and 3rd images cannot be found on the site. Are the filenames capitalised? Some servers will not accept a request for prod2nd-75-F0605.jpg as the same request as Prod2nd-75-F0605.jpg - no - this is not the problem, I just tried both versions.

The javascript is changing the source when you click the two image buttons. Checking the main image properties shows it has been changed to use the 2nd and 3rd images..

IE, Opera and FF all agree the images are not there in the acatalog folder.
